Services List
A calibration is REQUIRED after an ADAS sensor’s position is disrupted in any way, including the following:

Any Collision Repair
The Collision Repair Process can alter ADAS Components such as sensors, cameras and radars. These items need to be aimed or adjusted properly during calibration to ensure systems function correctly.

Minor Collision
A minor collision can disrupt the calibration of ADAS systems by shifting the position of sensors and cameras, even if no visible damage occurs, leading to potential inaccuracies in safety feature performance.

Windshield / Side Mirror Replacement
Common ADAS components are housed in or near the windshield and/or side mirrors. During replacement these cameras and sensors need to be properly calibrated to function correctly with the new glass or housing to ensure systems function correctly.

Wheel Alignment
Misaligned wheels can alter the orientation of sensors and cameras, causing incorrect data interpretation and compromising the accuracy of safety features like lane-keeping and adaptive cruise control.

Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) Are Present
When Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are present in ADAS systems, they indicate potential sensor or system mis-alignments, malfunctions, or faults that could compromise the accuracy and effectiveness of safety features.

Sensor/Mounting Bracket Replacement
New components may alter the positioning or alignment of sensors or remove communication with the vehicle. Calibration ensures proper detection, measurement and functionality of the system’s safety features.

ADAS Related Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs)
TSBs are issued by manufacturers to address known issues or updates related to ADAS components, such as recalibration procedures, sensor malfunctions, software updates, or alignment corrections.

Airbag / SRS Deployment
Once supplemental restraint systems have deployed, they must be replaced and calibrated to communicate with the vehicle and function correctly to ensure accurate system and safety performance.

Altered Tire Size or Ride Height
Changes to ride height or tire size can alter the vehicle's geometry, affecting the angles and accuracy of sensors and cameras.

Suspension Repair / Replacement
Suspension repair / replacement can impact the alignment of ADAS sensors and cameras, making calibration necessary to ensure accurate sensor readings and proper operation of features like lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control.

Rivian Windshield Replacement
When replacing a Rivian windshield, critical ADAS features such as Driver+ assistance, which includes hands-free driving, lane-keeping, and adaptive cruise control, are directly impacted. Driver+ relies on accurate sensor data from embedded cameras to maintain safe distances, stay within lanes, and monitor the environment.

Tesla Windshield Replacement
When replacing a Tesla windshield, key features like Tesla Autopilot, which enables semi-autonomous driving, lane-keeping assist, and collision avoidance are directly affected. The cameras and sensors embedded in the windshield play a crucial role in Autopilot’s ability to safely operate. We are Tesla Certified, so you can rest assured that your vehicle will be returned to factory standards.

Required by OEMs
The FIRST step required by most OEMs when performing an ADAS Calibration is an Alignment Check.

Why is Alignment Critical
ADAS Technology relies on wheel alignment to perform as engineered. Misalignment risks inaccurate ADAS performance, creating a liability risk for the repairer.
